Our Business, Finance, and Stock Investing Course is designed and PROVEN to take students with no previous understanding about business and finance and – after approximately 100 hours or work in 18 weeks or less – deliver:

1.  A clear and positive understanding of what corporations are all about, why they would want to have shareholders, how the initial public offering process works vs. borrowing money from a bank to raise capital, and remaining a private company.
2. An overview of how the stock market works and what makes stocks and stock markets increase or decrease in value.
3. A process for evaluating and deciding for themselves whether a company is a good one to invest in, based on 6 primary criteria that they measure for themselves through detailed analysis.
4. Knowledge of over 50 business and finance terms that they use throughout the course.
5. Understanding and confidence to read company quarterly and annual reports to understand key metrics.
6. The tools for understanding the fundamental quality of companies and how to successfully combine these fundamentals with the basic technical characteristics of the stock market and the share price of companies.  They decide for themselves if the stock price is a good purchase now – based on valuation and technical analysis- or whether it is better to wait.
7. A vision for being able to carefully navigate the stock market and routines that they can follow regularly to learn about new ideas that are emerging in the markets and to keep a pulse on the markets, on their own.
