My 13 year old son Elijah has always been a “saver”; putting his birthday money and allowance away with the prospect of purchasing something in the future besides candy. Recently, he has asked me about investing. I wanted to encourage not only his practice of saving, but his interest in investing and growing his savings. However, I was reluctant to delve into it with him because of my poor experiences with my own attempts of investing.Then my wife Maureen brought home a SMC pamphlet she obtained at a home school conference. I called Eric. He returned my call promptly. I was impressed that he took the time to explain SMC and the educational benefits it had for us as a home school family. Eric’s S-I-M-P-L-E stock investing strategy makes total sense. I just watched a short video from Stock Market Companion about Cell Therapeutics, Inc. Dear Stock Market Companion – I was curious about stock market investing.  SMC has proved to be a great place to learn.  My 25 year old son is interested in trying his hand at buy and selling stocks.  What I am learning at the SMC is giving me a foundation of knowledge to pass on to him and some fun things to talk about.
